Get Strong Arms In The Simplest Way Possible


It’s certainly great getting stronger and stronger muscles all over your body, but the most exciting body part to develop strength in is the arms.

To get strong arms I advise you to train more in the style of the strength trainee rather than a bodybuilder.

Strength trainees tend to do lower repetitions using heavier weights to help them develop explosive strength. The typical bodybuilding routine of higher reps and lower weights will not help you to develop this sort of explosive strength.

To develop strength in the shoulders…

I recommend you do plenty of pressing moments such as the bench press and shoulder presses. Rows — upright and bent over — are also excellent exercises to develop the shoulders.

To develop strength in the triceps…

I recommend you do plenty of triceps extension exercises — particularly French curls — as well as close grip bench pressing.

To develop strength in the biceps…

Forget fancy dumbbell curls. The best way to develop strength in the biceps is to do heavy barbell curls using a straight bar.

To develop strength in the forearms…

Finally, to develop the forearms I recommend simple wrist curl and reverse wrist curl exercises. But, the forearms will naturally get stronger by virtue of holding heavier and heavier weights for your other exercises.
